We are the Girl Scouts of Western NY FLL team founded in 2009. We attend Churchville Chili Middle School and High School and one is home schooled. We belong to 3 different Girl Scout troops, our mentor and coaches are also Girl Scouts. Our team has two new members, three second year, one third year, and one forth year member. We like to keep the fun in FLL by playing music and dancing. It is our goal to reach out to at least 50 girls this year to show how exciting GS, FIRST Robotics and STEM can be.

 

We have found that the Girl Scout Law and Gracious Professionalism helps our team work well. We learned that as a member of the team you sometimes have to step into another's role to help the team succeed. Sometimes when we were at a roadblock it helped to take a break or do something silly, then when we went back we usually could figure the problem out. We play music at every meeting as it helps to keep us upbeat and creative.
